The Best Fishing Day To Date Gary and Sandy Witman
..a very special thanks for taking us fishing on the back country of Florida Bay on Feb. 14th. We enjoyed the encounter with the dolphins swimming in our wake on the way out. We caught so many fish that we both had visible marks on our ribs from the fish fighting us. Trout, mackerel, snapper, bluefish, (and the shark that got away) – we caught all in one day of fishing. And lady fish put up a great fight for their size. That’s not to mention the unexpected side trip to see the American Crocodile near the ice house.

I’ve had great fishing days before: catching a 43-inch Northern Pike at the Attica Reservior, NY; stopping by a river near Saranac Lake, NY when the fish wouldn’t stop getting caught even if there was no bait left on the hook. Those seem like fishing dreams to me, but there is no doubt that the best fishing day, so far, in our lives was spent with you in the back country on Valentine’s Day 2012. And this is no fisherman’s tale! Thanks again.

It’s Friday morning and I’m back at my desk… pretty much in shock. It is not an easy transition coming off a trip to the Keys, especially after the great time Jen and I had. You were a big part of that. I can’t thank you enough for the most excellent tarpon fishing. All I can say is WOW. I’m still running on the adrenaline from fighting that last beast we landed. I’ll never forget it and neither will Jen. She can’t quit talking about the trip, not only the fish but the mating turtles, the dolphin, the bald eagle – just the whole experience. She was really glad she hauled herself out of bed to come along.

I have fished with more guides than I can count, both fresh water and sale, and you are truly top shelf. not only do you know what you are doing but you were great company as well. I had a great, great time and I hope you did too, even though unlike me you were at work. As long as you are in the Keys you will see me again.

I wanted to thank you for a great fishing trip. We caught lots of great fish – marlin, sailfish, tuna, and stripers – but those big Tarpon you put us on rank right at the top of the list! My Dad and I look forward to doing it again.

On behalf of my son Joe, I want to thank you for a very enjoyable fishing trip. My son enjoyed himself, and I’m sure he’ll be back. He definitely caught tarpon fever. …(my son is already saving money for the next trip!)

Your operation was professional and prompt. Even though I don’t fish, I really enjoyed myself.
